My test result is invalid or rejected. What does that mean?

This means that the sample you provided was non-optimal, could not be put through the testing process, could not produce appropriate data to determine whether or not you are infected with the virus, or there was necessary information missing from your form and/or sample. If you receive an invalid/rejected test result, per laboratory regulations you’d need to be retested.
